Don Lamoreux's Biography

Producer and Writer

Don Lamoreux is an actor, producer, writer and teacher in Toronto.

As a producer and writer, Don has been Artistic Director of the Crocodile Theatre Company in Montreal. This company subsidized by the Federal Government of Canada produced among other works, the musical Whatever Happened to Peace and Love? which Don co-wrote. Don has just finished a feature film script, "A Papal Conspiricy". Don is a voting member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, as well as a recent graduate of the ProSeries course at Screenwriting U.

Acting Career

As an actor, Don has been featured in films, television and theatre in a career that has spanned over thirty years. He is a member of ACTRA, Canadian Actors’ Equity, Union des Artistes and Screen Actors’ Guild. Don has served two years as Vice-President and eighteen years as Councilor for ACTRA Toronto Performers.

As a teacher, Don has worked for twenty-two years at Vanier College, John Abbott College and Centennial College in courses ranging from acting to literature to writing.
